About Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
Modern Slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking. All of which have in common the exploitation of an individual for personal or commercial gain.

Business Outline
Fentexa Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery, this statement sets out the steps that Fentexa has taken, and is continuing to take, to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain. This is in keeping with the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Fentexa Ltd is a technology-driven consultancy, dedicated to the financial markets sector. We specialise in providing a wide range of services to our clients’ trading application needs, with a particular focus on cost reduction. Our company works across trading, risk, and back-office operations on various financial products and investment platforms which include Murex, Finastra Fusion and Calypso, supporting many of the world’s largest banking and financial institutions. All our suppliers and customers are vetted to ensure they are suitable as per 1S0:9001 2015 standard.

Fentexa Ltd holds the responsibility to ensure that its suppliers also comply wholly with the Modern slavery agreement. In doing this all suppliers are held according to the Purchasing agreement, updated Nov 2021. This agreement sets out exactly what action will be taken if there is any risk or offence of Modern Slavery within the supply chain.

All workers are recruited directly via out inhouse recruitment team, with their rates of pay being clear and evidenced to all parties involved prior to commencement of employment with the company.

  • Fentexa Ltd strictly prohibits the use of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain.
  • The company expects that its customers and suppliers will hold their own supply chain to the same high standard surrounding the issues of modern slavery.
  • Fentexa Ltd expects every employee to support and uphold the commitment to engage with stakeholders and suppliers to address the risks of modem slavery where this could be a concern.

Fentexa Ltd has implemented policies to ensure that, in all areas of the business and within our supply chain, we act ethically and with integrity and transparency.

We operate a number of internal policies to ensure that we are conducting our business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:

  1. Recruitment policy– All employees are paid above the national minimum living wage. We operate a robust recruitment policy, which includes ‘eligibility to work in the UK’ checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
  2. Equal Opportunities policy– This policy offers all employees equal treatment, taking into consideration all protected characteristics. This policy is set out to avoid any potential discrimination at work.
  3. Whistleblowing policy– Fentexa operates a whistleblowing policy so that all employees can freely raise concerns about how colleagues are being treated or concerns with practices within the business or supply chain, without fear or reprisals.
  4. GDPR policy– All individuals associated with Fentexa Ltd have the right to their personal Information being protected under the General Data Protection Regulations.

Training
We ensure that all individuals are briefed on the Modern Slavery Act so that they understand the signs of modern slavery and to notify the signatory as soon as they have any suspicion that something may be amiss.
